Existing Account in Virtual Terminal
I can't find any information on what the “Existing Account” field in the Virtual Terminal is meant to represent, nor how to use it. Can you please share what that field is for, and how it works with a transaction processed in the VT? Thank you!

The “Existing Account” field in the Virtual Terminal is used to identify and associate the transaction with an existing Salesforce Account.
Specifically, it helps when a person exists as a Contact under a different Household Account. By selecting the appropriate Existing Account, the transaction can be correctly linked to the intended Account and Contact, rather than creating or associating it with a new or incorrect Household.
In short, this field allows you to ensure the donation is applied to the correct Account/Household when processing a transaction through the Virtual Terminal.
