How to remove a card on file from a customer?
If a customer no longer wants their card ‘on file,’ what is the best method for removing it? My instinct is to clear the values in Contact and Account on the Transaction, but I wanted to check to see if there is a mechanism for marking that a transaction shouldn't be referenced for future purchases (in Click & Pay or in CONNECT).
Thank you!

Rob Vap Ronny Radzai - does no one monitor the online forum? Can you please provide an answer to this one soon?

Thank you for the follow up and we apologize for the delay. The team has been reviewing this internally and we will provide an update as soon as possible.

Hello Jillian,
The card on file cannot be deleted from CONNECT. If there is a dispute, charge back, transaction questions for Stripe, or any legal questions, we need it for reference.
We can delete this in your Salesforce instance, but if we do you will not be able to update recurrings, credit transactions the card was used for, etc. in your Salesforce instance.
Please let your customer know that Click & Pledge does not store actual credit card information. Once the card information is submitted, it is immediately converted to a secure token. The actual card number is never stored and cannot be retrieved or viewed. We are only able to reference the last four digits of the card for instances mentioned above.
Let us know if you have questions.
