Gravity Forms: Universal receipt settings, and (ideally not) sending receipts when $0
Hello,
Is there any way to make the “Send receipt to patron” function (https://i.imgur.com/J0slJQx.png) selectable per individual form? Or perhaps this is something you can offer in a future update? We need to be able to offer different receipts for different forms – and in some cases turn off the receipt entirely – so having this be a universal setting is not ideal.
Alternatively, a partial solution to our need would be to have C&P *not* send a patron receipt if the transaction amount is $0. (Content: We use Gravity Forms to collect event registrations with optional donations, so many of these transactions end up being for $0. But since C&P will still send a receipt in such cases, we end up needing to have awkwardly worded receipts when ideally the receipt would simply not be sent at all.)
Thanks!

Hello Daniel, Good day!
At present, the “Send receipt to patron” functionality is managed at the Campaign level. This means receipts are sent based on the template assigned to the specific Campaign in your CONNECT account and are not based on transaction characteristics like amount.
We completely understand your use case, the good news is that we have planned an enhanced receipt model that will allow more granular control, such as sending receipts based on SKU, transaction amount, specific forms, and more.
This feature is on our roadmap, but there is no confirmed ETA at this time.
In the meantime, we recommend creating separate CONNECT Campaigns with specific receipt settings tailored for each Gravity Form.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as the advanced receipt management system becomes available!
