Editing the Recurring Information - Patron
Patrons may edit their own recurring information, either through the Patron Portal in Salesforce, or by using a custom link to edit their information in CONNECT.
The custom link to the Recurring Updater in CONNECT is found in the Details section of the Recurring menu in Salesforce. Emailing this link to the patron will open their Recurring Updater as described in https://support.clickandpledge.com/hc/en-us/articles/36978005663003-CONNECT-Recurring-Updater#Patron_links. Note: Recurring Updater must be enabled in CONNECT for this link to work.
In Salesforce, you can control what fields the patron may update in the Patron Portal settings. Note: these field permissions may also be set in CONNECT. They are not automatically synced.
Recurring Updater Change Log
The change log will give you a list of changes your patrons have made through the Recurring Updater. To access the change log go to Launcher > Vault > Transactions > Recurring. Click on the desired Recurring ID, then select the Change Log Tab
Each time a transaction is updated, a new order number is generated, and all transactions are tied to the Master Order Number. The changes that were made are reflected in the Change column, using the letters defined in the Legend.
