Receipt Notifications for Canceled Recurring Transactions
Hi,
I have a small backlog of stalled recurring transactions, where the donor did not respond to update requests after an installment was declined but we never went back in to cancel the transaction so it still has an active status. I want to go in and clean up these records, but don't want to confuse patrons if they get a canceled receipt notification for a transaction that was last charged several years ago.
Do patrons also receive the canceled receipt notification like the internal mailing list does? If so, if I set the patron receipt to “None - Do Note Send” in the campaign and general settings in Connect while I am updated the old transactions will that keep the notification from being sent?

When a recurring transaction is cancelled, the patron/donor will not receive any notification email regarding the cancellation.
