Unable to change charge date on recurring gift
A donor requested that we ‘pause’ their monthly gift until 1/5/2026. Tried to do this by navigating to the C&P Recurring record and using the “Update Recurring” button. However, there is no “Edit” button for the Payment Method section. It displays “Change=P” where the button should be. We were also unsucceessful when trying to accomplish this in CONNECT.
The Recurring ID is 832807. Access granted, org ID 00DA0000000Avko. This is somewhat urgent - their next charge date is currently set to 10/5

Our developers are currently researching why the date cannot be changed through the recurring updater process in Salesforce. However you should be able to change the next payment date through Connect with the following steps:
Login to Connect
Click on the Launcher (4 squares in top right)
Select Transactions & Reports
search for the most recent order number or donor's email
Click on the most recent order number
Click on Manage Recurrings
Click on Update RecurringAt the bottom of the next page you should be able to update the Next Payment Date
If the recurring is using a card that has an past expiration date, it is most likely a card that was updated through Propay's card updater program. If this is the case, new card information would need to be entered when updating the payment date as the recurring transaction is still on Propay and cannot updated be without migrating it to Stripe.

Thank you, Rob. This is from ProPay, so there is no card information. It sounds like we have to cancel this recurring and hope the donor sets up a new one in January.
