Overview
The Peer-to-Pier(P2P) hierarchy is designed to have donations in a P2P campaign rollup to the next level.
Fundraiser > Teams (if applicable) > CONNECT Campaign > Salesforce Campaign (if applicable).
For example, multiple schools or businesses may be hosting P2P campaigns in support of your organization. They have Fundraisers who are members of Teams who are raising money for a CONNECT Campaign created for their school or business. And your organization has an overarching Salesforce Campaign for total P2P fundraising for the calendar year.
Using P2P mapping you will be able to quickly see the total dollars raised and number of opportunities generated for the overarching Salesforce Campaign.
You will then be able to look at each CONNECT Campaign, each Team Campaign, and each Fundraiser Campaign to get the full picture.
To set up the mapping, you will need to work in both CONNECT and in Salesforce.

Navigation in Click & Pay Suite in Salesforce
Navigation In CONNECT:
Create Campaigns for each P2P Event.
- In the upper right corner, click on the Launcher icon (4 squares).
- Under that click on Fundraising.
- On the menu on the left, click on Campaigns & Forms.
- Click on NEW CAMPAIGN.
- A new campaign will open in the Campaign Details section.
- Set the Campaign to Active when ready.
- Set the Campaign to Show when ready.
- Name the Event. For example, if this campaign was for Central High School, you might name it Central High School. Here we are using "Event 1."
- Set the Campaign Alias. For the Central High School example, the alias might be chs or central. Here we are using "ev1"
The alias will appear in the Campaign URL. For example: https://connect.clickandpledge.com/Organization/YourOrgName/campaign/ev1 - Set the Campaign SKU. This will be used for mapping to Salesforce. Note: including -p2p at the end of the SKU will make for one-step mapping for all Teams and Fundraisers. In this example the SKU is ev1-p2p. If the campaign was for Central High School, the SKU might be CHS-p2p.
Complete the remaining fields.
Creation of Campaigns in Salesforce:
- Create the Parent Campaign that the CONNECT campaigns will roll up to.
- Create a Campaign for each CONNECT campaign. Set the Salesforce Campaign above as the parent campaign for each of these campaigns. This way, all CONNECT campaigns will roll up to the same Salesforce Parent Campaign.

This mapping will result in campaigns being created for each event, team, and fundraiser. These campaigns will each have two tabs - Details and Related.
In the Details Tab:
- The top-level "Salesforce Campaign" shows the total dollars raised and the number of opportunities in the entire campaign.
- The Event Campaign (CONNECT campaign) shows its Parent Campaign ("Salesforce Campaign"), the total dollars raised, the number of opportunities, and the number of contacts in the Event.
- The Team Campaign shows its Parent Campaign (the CONNECT event), the total dollars raised, the number of opportunities, and the number of contacts for the in the Team.
- The Fundraiser Campaign shows their Parent Campaign (The Team they were a member of), the total dollars raised, the number of opportunities, and the number of contacts for the Fundraiser.
In the Related Tab:
- The top-level Salesforce Campaign ("Salesforce Campaign") shows the Connect Campaigns that are rolling up to it, how much money, and how many opportunities are in each of those campaigns.
- The next level is the CONNECT Event Campaign. Each one of these shows the Teams that are part of that Event, the number of opportunities in each Team, and the total dollars each Team has raised. It also shows the campaign members in the total Event.
- The next level is the Team Campaign. Each one of these shows the Fundraisers that are part of that Team, the number of opportunities for each Fundraiser, and the total dollars each fundraiser has raised. It also shows the campaign members in the Team.
