Maintenance Schedule

Updated

The following dates are set for the quarterly maintenance schedule. These dates may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. In general, the maintenance is set for the Sunday after the second Tuesday of the last month in the quarter.

Scheduled downtimes will be from 1:30 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. ET on a Sunday whenever possible.

Scheduled Downtime - Sunday 16-February-2025 3am - 6am

Date: Sunday - February 16, 2025
Time: 3:00 am - 6:00 am EDT

System Maintenance:

16-Feb-2025
12:45 am - hardware maintenance on machines that do not affect processing.
1:30 am - begin updates on critical failover servers. This will not affect processing
3:01 am - Maintenance has begun - no processing allowed at this time.
4:05 am - Updates proceeding normally - we still have a couple of updates in progress.
5:10 am - All updates complete - Processing may resume.

Scheduled Downtime - Sunday 20-April-2025 3am - 6am

Date: Sunday - April 20, 2025
Time: 3:00 am - 6:00 am EDT

System Maintenance:

20-Apr-2025 - Prior to downtime
12:05 am - 3:00 am various updates that do not affect processing
3:00 am - we switched the system into maintenance mode - NO PROCESSING ALLOWED AT THIS TIME.
3:50 am - updates of most servers complete. Database design changes in progress.
4:55 am - all updates complete and tests have been done. Processing has been re-enabled.
Thank you for your patience. The structural changes made today are in preparation for new products coming soon.

 

Scheduled Downtime - Sunday 28-Jan-2024 3am - 6am

Date: Sunday - January 28, 2025
Time: 3:00 am - 6:00 am EST

System Maintenance:

2:30 am - we are preparing for the upcoming maintenance window. Updates that could be done without affecting processing have been in progress since 1am
3:02 am - we are in our quarterly maintenance windows NO TRANSACTIONS CAN OCCUR during this time. The windows runs until 6:00 am. But we will go live if we are done prior to that time.
3:40 am - updates are going well.
4:45 am - firewalls, and most critical servers have been updated. Waiting on a couple items that are taking longer than expected. We are still on track for going live at or before 6am.
5:50 am - all updates complete. Testing done. Going live
6:00 am - all sites are live. We are going through and doing final checks. Processing can commence.

1:00 pm - Preparations and planning are ongoing

1:45 am - Pre-downtime updates are in progress. These updates are to standby servers and do not affect processing.

3:02 am - We are currently in the maintenance window. No processing can occur between now and when we re-activate the production servers, which will be no later than 6 am EDT
4:15 am - Network equipment has been updated to latest security patches. Primary database server updates are proceeding.
4:45 am - DB Server updates complete. Now updating replication configuration in DB.
5:47 am - Updates complete and servers are live for transactions. We will test and monitor things for the next couple hours to make sure everything is running as expected.

10 am - Preparations and planning are in progress.

2:15 am - Hardware maintenance items that can be performed prior to downtime in progress
2:55 am - Preparing to go into maintenance mode. When we do, no transactions will be possible.
3:03 am - We have entered maintenance mode. ALL SITES have been redirected to this page. No processing will be possible until the maintenance is finished.
4:01 am - Updates are proceeding at an expected pace. We anticipate finishing in advance of the 6am deadline.
5:33 am - Updates complete - the system has been checked out. We are live - Processing can resume

4:55 am - Server and network equipment updates are complete.
5:40 am - All testing complete. The system is live. Processing can resume.
