IMPORTANT NOTE: This update is required for instances that use the Autoresponder or Event. Releases prior to this release will no longer be able send email since the provider has been updated to enhance stability.
New Features:
- C&P Settings > Opportunity > Create an Opportunity for Reversals (Default value unchecked): If checked, a negative opportunity will be created for the net amount credited transaction. For disputed transactions that have incurred a fee by the gateway, an opportunity will be created with a negative amount for the charged fee. The opportunities are created when the gateway deposit information posts to Salesforce. Stages for both of these opportunities are set as customized in the C&P Settings > Opportunity > Stage section.
- Autoresponder may be set to not send email to contacts who have opted out of receiving email. A new field has been added to the Autoresponder setting with the label "Do Not Send Email if Opt Out. The Contact > Email Opt-Out field will be checked by the Autoresponder and if the field is checked, the Autoresponder will not be sent. The value for this field for all existing Autoresponders is set to Un-checked for backward compatibility. (Client Requested)
- Compatibility with the latest Double The Donation (DTD) 360MatchPro: Integration with DTD has changed due to the company's product update. The free integration no longer works as the company has stopped offering the feature. Organizations interested in using the DTD matching gift features need to apply for the 360MatchPro product. For pricing & setting up an account please contact Double the Donation for details. - C&P Settings >> Virtual Terminal >> Payment Methods >> Payment Methods >> Card On-File: The new feature allows for hiding the Card-on-File from the Virtual Terminal when processing a transaction. Organizations have asked for this feature so their volunteers cannot use the feature when processing credit cards.

- C&P Data will be processed AFTER INSERT, processing as Queueable handler, as compared to BEFORE INSERT in the prior releases. This change ensures all data post to Salesforce prior to any action or triggers acting on the data.
- C&P Data will no longer be inserted in Salesforce by CONNECT but will post to a trigger that manages all external / internal interactions with C&P apps.
- C&P Data Re-post: Prior to this release the C&P Data was being deleted and re-inserted for Re-Processing of the posted data. This action was changing the Record ID of the C&P Data. In this release the data will not delete but will re-process ensuring the Record ID is intact and as such matches the record originally saved in CONNECT. Addition of "Replace answer with blank" as a condition in the custom question mapping.
- Maintenance > Auto process C&P Temporary Contacts if Contact exists: Change of processing interval from 3 hours to 5 minutes.
- C&P Data Re-Post: Prior to this release duplicate posts were being ignored. In this release a duplicate will force delete the existing data and re-processes the transaction.
- C&P Account: The notification list and other account information will post from CONNECT. Error notifications will be sent through Salesforce using the email list as provided in CONNECT. To change the notification list, the update needs to be made in CONNECT.
- C&P Recurring > Edit Credit Card Info: Option to send a receipt with $0 pre-authorization to the card holder.

The item campaign takes priority over the default setting in the virtual terminal, if present.

- C&P Settings > Maintenance: A new feature has been added for processing Temporary Contacts automatically every 3 hours. The new process will resolve the Temporary Contact if the contact is found. A use case includes having a lot of contacts pending processing in the C&P Temporary Contact and manually adding the contacts without processing the Temps. Given the contact exists, the new process will identify the contact and will settle the contact without manual intervention. To enable go to: C&P Settings > Maintenance. The option is not available when the Contact Matching is set to "Fully Automatic" in the presence of NPSP and if the Matching is set to "Manual".
- Various post-installation steps are now included in the C&P Settings > About C&P Apps. Checking for the new release will check the post-installation to ensure all settings, that can be checked, are correct. It is recommended for the synchronization to be verified after each upgrade.
Bug Fixes:
- A correction update has been made to the <ChargeAmount> node in the C&P Data. The old node <ChargAmount> (missing e) will be deprecated in a future release.
- Back dated transactions posted using custom payment type were being posted with conversion to the connected time zone. This had resulted in incorrect conversion. The issue was also present for pre-authorization transactions. These transactions post without any time and are posted as the DATE only. Converting from Eastern Time to other time zones that are behind ET resulted in posting of the transaction as the previous date.
- Items with NO Salesforce Campaign assigned will NOT be assigned any campaign. In the previous releases the Transaction campaign was being assigned to the Item campaign resulting in inconsistencies.
- Various UI enhancements & minor updates.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE:
Prior to the installation of the PaaS application the following manual changes need to be made. If these fields are not set up the installation will fail.
- Go to Salesforce Setup
- Left hand menu: App Setup > Create > Objects
- C&P Transaction object: edit & check the field for "Track Field History"
- C&P Recurring: edit & check the field for "Track Field History"
The tracking history for both of these objects will be set for a few specific fields through the post installation script. Additional fields may be added manually if needed, with a maximum of 20 according to the Salesforce limitations per object.
Upon completion of installation of all apps go to C&P Settings > Maintenance and synchronize the update making sure all apps are up-to-date.

Bug Fixes:
- Autoresponder: The autoresponder year was previously set to the "Week Year" rather than "Calendar Year". This has been fixed by changing YYYY to yyyy in the application.
- Invoice: Addition of custom payment type reference to the invoice payment page.
- Invoice: An issue with defining the custom payment type in the invoice policy.
- Transactions posting as declined using the custom fraud policy, will post with both the authorization and credit in the same C&P Data This combined post was creating an issue with creating the transaction. The issue has been resolved by tracking both actions.
- Custom Question Mapping: The transaction date used for Opportunity mapping was using the server time zone (EST) rather than the client time zone as set in the Salesforce User Time Zone for the following user types:
- Transactions processed by finding the Contact or if in Fully Automatic contact matching mode: The user is the "Connected User" as defined in the Connect platform. The time zone associated with this user will be used for customization.
- Transaction processed by the C&P Temporary Contact: The user is defined as the processing user that is logged in. The logged in user's time zone will be used for customization.
- Invoice contact lookup field auto-fill was not matching the C&P Settings > Contacts & Accounts > Mapping Fields.

- Temporary Contact: If ContactID is not found the transaction will process and the contact will be placed in the C&P Temporary Contact. This issue addresses a problem with recurring transactions originated in the Salesforce Virtual Terminal by loading a specific contact. In this case the ContactID will be used for future transactions and if that contact is no longer available (deleted, etc.) the recurring transaction would fail to locate the contact and would generate an error. With this enhancement the Contact will be placed in the Temporary Contact for review.
- Invalid emails were generating error with creation of Contact Alias. The error was reported by clients with custom forms not validating emails prior to posting. With this update when an email is not valid, e.g. john@.com, and cannot be saved in the Contact's Email field the email will be set to NULL and the alias will be created.
- C&P Data field length increased to 131,072 characters, the new Salesforce limit, from the previous limit of 32,768 characters.
- Increasing the number of synchronized MailChimp lists to 100 from 25.

- Relationships label was changed to Connections to avoid confusion with the NPSP's relationship feature.

Virtual Terminal button in the Contact record works for contacts with no prior transactions. The button was returning an error if no transactions and credit card were recorded for a contact.
