Customize your donation forms, populate custom fields, define your autoresponder by your donor’s input, and set up Auction for Salesforce payment processing.
Then start acrobatic dives into C&P Events- what are SKUs and why do I need them?, best practice for recurring Events, creating discounts for your Membership program, and where can I find the "that" new feature?
Webinar Airdate: Jan 22, 2016
Here is a selection of questions asked during the webinar:
We currently use 2 other companies for processing. We then download that data into an excel spreadsheet and do a manual upload into Salesforce. Would using Click&Pledge be a more streamlined (best practices) process, in your opinion?
With C&P all posts to Salesforce in real time. No need to import or export. We are 100% in Salesforce. No need to import or export. Set it and forget it.
Is there also a way to push all Contact Alias IDs into Contact record, at once in batch?
You can push them one by one. We find that works best so you know the information is right. Here are some issues… for example: Alexander does a transaction and one transaction he posts it as Alex & Susan Smith. Now the alias is there but really not what you want to use as contact name. Another example one address is all lower case, another is all upper case. As you see, alias is a bit tricky to push without review.
Can we embed the Connect form into our website or customize it further so that it has more of our branding and brand colors than Click & Pledge?
It is designed to be iframed so your brand goes around it. We are coming out with more forms so you can use many variations.
Are you using NPSP to manage all donations (including online and offline)?
We are compliant and work nicely with NPSP but it is not required. If you want to use it you can. We have a virtual terminal and you can simply do whatever you want with us.
Oh, so does that mean the virtual terminal may be used for checks and payments made using donation form (paper) with payment details?
Yes. That is correct. We have a feature called Custom Payment Type that you can assign default values to, e.g. Paper Check, cash, tokens, etc. Then you process. Receipts will go out and all works the same. These transactions are 100% free as we do not settle them.
Can you show how you get a list of people at an event?
It is easy… just go to the event > Reporting and download registrants, attendees, or both in a report as Excel.
How do you integrate C&P payments and SalesForce opportunities with your accounting system?
You may set up our General Ledger feature and map them based on SKU for expense and income. We also have worked with Workato to fully integrate with QuickBooks online.
