Campaigns may be defined for an event and its corresponding levels. In the presence of campaign, the registrant will become a campaign member of the event campaign and the attendees will become campaign members of their respective registered level's campaigns.
A campaign hierarchy is an effective method for tracking an event. For example a campaign may be created for an event and various child campaigns for each level. Through this hierarchy reports may easily be created for registrants & attendees for the entire event and each level separately.
Be aware the Donor Management App’s C&P Settings customizations are the last step of the process for configurations and may override other settings, e.g. Events. If you make changes in C&P Settings in Opportunity, Campaign, etc. make sure they are consistent for transactions that originate through other Click & Pledge applications like Event Management. For example, if in Event Management you create Opportunities, assign Campaigns, etc. then be aware that configurations in Donor Management’s C&P Settings may overrule them.
