Click & Pay Suite: Settings – Notifications
Notifications allow you to add a task to a Contact, add a task to a user, or send an email when a new Temporary Contact or Contact Alias is created.
Notifications may also be assigned to a Temporary Account. Temporary Account option is available only when ‘Double the Donation’s status is "Authorized" under C&P Settings > Third Party. More on Double the Donation: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s/article/connect-third-party-integration.
NOTE: If notifications are activated, they are sent when the match mode settings are set to Semi-automatic or Manual contact creation which is located under Settings > Contacts & Accounts, then in the tab Contact > Match Mode. Temporary Contacts will not be created when the match mode settings are set to Fully-Automatic mode.
Notifications includes the following:
- Processing Order – Set the order of processing for the notifications.
- Condition – Select the condition that will trigger a notification – a new Alias or a new Temporary contact.
- Task – Select the task to be performed: Add a task to a Contact, add a task to a User, Send an email.
- Message – Enter the message to be displayed in the task description or email.
- Status – Set the status value of the task record created. Notification emails are sent regardless of Status value recorded
- Priority – Set a priority for the task being created.
- Reminder – Enable the check box to set a reminder value of the task (number of days). Do not enable the check box if an email is being sent.
