PATRON PORTAL
The Patron Portal allows your patrons to sign-in and view/edit their shipping address(e) and payment method(s). They may also view their transactions with your organization and download a .csv file for the time period they are viewing.
To assess the Patron Portal in Click & Pay Suite select Patron Portal using the nine-dot launcher on the right.

1. Salesforce Site
The Patron Portal feature is hosted using Salesforce’s Sites. If your organization already has Salesforce Site(s) you will have the option to use your existing Site with Patron Portal. If you do not have a Site set up, here are instructions to set it up: Salesforce-Sites
2. Contact Access to Portal
If you are NOT using the Store for selling product or event registrations, you will need to grant access to the Portal for your Patrons. After granting access, let your patrons know they can login to their Patron Portal Account.
Patrons may be added three ways.
- Give Access to All Contacts
- Go to the nine dot Click & Pay Launcher on the right
- Click Patron Portal
- Click Global Settings
- Click the slider to turn on the function
- Give Access to Patrons Individually
- Give Access to Patrons by Uploading a Report
What is Patron Portal?
This is a Stand-alone Patron Portal that you may hyperlink to your website. This will allow your patrons to login to the Portal and see their Click & Pledge transactions that are in your Salesforce instance, download a .csv file of their transactions, edit recurring transactions, and update their contact information based on the settings you have selected.
You may have an unlimited number of Patron Portals.
Create a Portal Site
Click the "+Add" button to begin.
Under the Action icon you may View, Edit or Delete a Portal, see the Login History of patrons that have logged into this portal, or get the Site Link.
Basic Information
Site Name - Enter the name of the Portal Site you are creating.
C&P Account Number - If you have more than one Click & Pledge account, select the account number this Portal will be used with.
Salesforce Site - Select the Salesforce Site you use with Click & Pledge products.
Background Image - Add the image you would like to appear on the login screen.
Patron Portal Button
Use Case:
You are having a Live Auction at a Gala and need an easy way for your patrons to pay for their purchases.
When they log in to the portal, they will see a button on the top right with the title VIP Sneak Preview with Buy It Now price for a live auction. VIPs will be able to make a purchase immediately.
Another example is a button titled Membership. When the patron clicks the button, they will see available memberships.

Add Button(s) to Portal
Go to Paton Portal > Portal(s).
Edit the portal where the button will be included or create a new Portal. Click in the field and you will see a dropdown button to view the list of available buttons.
Login Widget
Position - Select Left, Center, or Right for the position of the login widget.
Background Color - Select a background color for your widget. You may use the RGB or Hex code to select your color. You may also set transparency for the widget.
Login Widget - Enter the text you would like to include on the widget. You may enter text above or below the widget for as shown below. You may also reposition the wildcard in the text area.
Login Button Background Color - Set the background color for your login button.
Login Button Font - Select the font for your login button.
Portal Site
Portal Header - Create the header your Patrons will see on the Portal Site
Portal Footer - Create the footer your Patrons will see on the Portal Site.
Click the Save button.

Customer One Time Verification Code
This is for use with Store/Event. Clicking the check box for "Send Customer One Time Verification Code" sends a code to the Patron to verify login. You may also customize the message here.
Save your changes.
ADD LINK TO WEBSITE
From the Portal(s) list, select the "Get Sire Link" under Action on the far right. Hyperlink this code to your website.
GLOBAL SETTINGS
Global Settings allows you to:
- Assign labels, descriptions, and choose to Show/Hide the menu items.
- Set Log Retention
- Grant Portal login Access to all Contacts
- Deny Portal access if an email is associated with multiple Contacts
- Grant permissions to update card, update customer info, cancel recurring, turn on Recurring Updater for Non-Store transactions.
- Enable an internal notification when Attendee(s) information is updated.
- Enable Donor Covered Fees for transactions purchased via button(s) in the Patron Portal.
Portal Menu Items
Enter your preferred label. You may add a description and hide items from the menu if you like.
LOG RETENTION
Enter the number of days, that the Patron portal login information log records will be deleted automatically from the “C&P Patron Portal Logs”. Log retention range is from 0 to 1095 days.

Enable Portal Login Access for all Contacts

Donor Covered Fees
A DONATE button is added to the Patron Portal by default. It uses the CONNECT form that is assigned in Analyst > AI Link. You may enable and set the parameters for the donor offset fee. Check the box to enable and assign parameters for fees.
LOGS
View the login activity of your patrons as they access the Patron Portal and view their account.
