Several customization options are available for creating opportunities with each transaction. The following summarizes each option.
Navigation to Settings > Opportunity
To navigate to the Opportunity Settings go to Launcher icon > Settings > Opportunity
STAGE
Each Opportunity's stage may be set based on the transaction response or type. Stages may also be set manually.
For example:
Authorized Transactions: Closed Won
Declined Transactions: Closed Lost
Bank Account: Pledged (or create custom stage for Pending)
LEAD SOURCE
The default "Lead Source" may be selected for transactions processed through Click & Pledge. If additional Stages are required they may be customized using the SKU in the Settings > Custom Mapping tab.
OPPORTUNITY SETTLEMENT
When Opportunity Settlement is used, an existing opportunity will be updated a new opportunity will not be created.
Manual Opportunity Settlement
New Opportunities may be created by the user for settlement in the future. In this section, move the Stages you want to include for opportunity settlement from the Available box to the Selected Box.
When only using Stages set in this section, the transaction will be added to the Opportunity Settlement tab on the Contact record with a button for manual settlement. You may need to add the Opportunity Settlement tab to your Contact record layout.
Auto-Assign Existing Opportunity
To automatically settle existing opportunities in your Salesforce instance, check the box to "Match Existing Opportunities with any of the above set stages". This section includes the required criteria for the opportunities to be settled.
Click SAVE when all options have been updated.
NOTE: The following table shows the fields that mapping may be based on in the Tabs below. The available choices may vary depending on the tab you are working on.
Condition selections will change depending on the “Based On” Option selected. If desired, set the Start Date and End Date.

OWNERSHIP
Here you may assign the owner for Opportunities as they are created.
Click the “+ NEW” button to create a new Opportunity Ownership or select from the Action list on an existing Record Type
OPPORTUNITY/PRODUCT
Here you will set the mapping for the creation of Opportunities or Opportunity Products.
Note: Bank Account transactions come through as "Pending." You must set up an opportunity/product to create an opportunity for Pending transactions as follows:
Opportunity/Product > +New > Based on > Payment Method Condition > Bank Account
Important: You must create a Stage for Bank Account as well.
If for some reason you do not want to create opportunities, uncheck the "Create Opportunity / Opportunity Product" button.
CONTACT ROLE
A contact role defines the function a person plays such as a Decision Maker, Evaluator, or Influencer.
Opportunity Record Type
Click the "+ New" button to create a new Opportunity Record Type or select Edit from the Action list on an existing Record Type.
CUSTOMIZE NAME
Check the "Opportunity > Customize Name " box to enable customized Opportunity Names. Add rules to set conditions for formatting the name and standardize how the Opportunity names are recorded. Remember that NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) provides a custom naming feature as well which will override Click & Pledge Name Customization. Click the “+ NEW” button to create a new Opportunity Name Customization or select Edit from the Action list on an existing Record Type.
RECORD TYPE
Click the “+ NEW” button to create a new Product Record Type for Opportunities / Opportunity Products, or select Edit from the Action list on an existing Record Type. Remember that NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) provides a record type setting under the settings for opportunity name customization. This will override Click & Pledge Record Type Settings.
