Upgrade to Click & Pay Suite. Retirement of Payment as a Service App (version 9 and earlier) is scheduled for July, 27, 2025.
The Click & Pay Suite App, version 10 of Click & Pledge’s robust integration with Salesforce, was launched on August 1, 2023. As with previous versions, it enables you to efficiently manage your fundraising efforts within Salesforce with the addition of highly requested features such as Store/Event, Clickits, and a Patron Portal. Our Payment as a Service App, version 9 and earlier, is set to retire July 27, 2025,. When version 9 retires, payments to Salesforce will no longer be posted. Please upgrade to Click & Pay Suite to ensure transactions continue to post to Salesforce without interruption.
What you need to know when moving to Click & Pay Suite
We understand that software updates sometimes feel daunting. We at Click & Pledge have made efforts to minimize set up and reduce the learning curve so you can get started as quickly as possible. We just have a few items to make you aware of as you get going.
Event Management App will remain available
If you are using the Event Management App from version 9, you will be able to continue to use it for current and future events. Numerous organizations actively use this App, and we will continue to support it until all the features you enjoy using are available within the newer Store/Event feature in the Click & Pay Suite App.
Please let us know if you use Event Management when you upgrade so we make sure your Event Management app is up-to-date.
Mapping Migrates
To make sure you have a smooth transition from version 9 to Click & Pay Suite, any existing mapping you have will be brought into Click & Pay Suite when you update.
Autoresponder Emails migrate into Click & Pay Suite, but the email templates from version 9 will not be editable.
To facilitate this, copy the text from your existing Autoresponder templates and paste it into a document. Then you will have it available if you need to create a new Autoresponder email. Autoresponders in the queue will be sent as scheduled.
Navigation Changes
Click & Pay Suite is built using Salesforce’s updated Lightning framework, so the look of Click & Pay Suite v10 is more modern. Click & Pay Suite includes all the features you’re used to from version 9, but the way you get around the app has changed.
In version 9, you may have searched through multiple tabs like C&P Settings, C&P Transactions, C&P Temporary Contacts, and others. In version 10, everything is streamlined into one central location: the Click & Pay Suite tab. Once you're in the Click & Pay Suite tab, use the in-app launcher (the 9-dot icon in the top right corner) to move between different sections. This launcher works like a menu that helps you quickly access the key areas of the app.
One important new section to be aware of is the Vault. This is where you'll now find the Virtual Terminal, Temporary Contacts, Transactions, and C&P Data. These tools are grouped together to make it easier to manage transaction activity.
Location of Features
Commonly used features from version 9 are now grouped by their capabilities. For instance, Virtual Terminal, Temporary Contacts, Temporary Accounts, Invoicing, Pledging, Transactions, Recurring Transactions, C&P Data are now located under the category Vault. Vault houses features that are related to transactions.
Autoresponder is in Dispatch. Dispatch houses features related to communications.
