CONNECT: Pre-Authorization with Single Payment

The main advantage of Pre – Authorization is zero payment transaction. The user can also save the card details for future transactions. Here are the steps which shows how to pre-authorize and manage the scheduled payment. We can manage scheduled payment only when it is a single payment but not for recurring.

1. Login to CONNECT. To know how to login, click here.
    
2. To pre-authorize a transaction, simply select the future date and the payment type as Credit Card.

3. Once processing the payment, go to Transactions. You will see the order number with Pre-Authorization as Payment.

4. Click on the Order Number and select Manage Scheduled Payment.

5. Click Charge Now.

6. A confirmation message will appear whether you want to charge now or not. Select Yes-Charge Now.

7. After successful transaction, you will see the saved credit card was charged.
