What: Givent is Click & Pledge’s propriety virtual fundraising app that allows your sponsors and supporters to turn any event on Zoom or Microsoft Teams into a fundraising event for you, introducing your cause to their network: classes, webinars, company meetings, school events and more. Donation amounts and donor comments appear on the scroll, and attendees are able donors to “boost” someone else’s donation in real time.
How: All a supporter needs to promote and support your cause is a paid Zoom or Microsoft Teams account and your GIVENT code which links their meeting to a campaign in your organization. Givent integrates with the Peer-to-Peer fundraising platform as well, allowing fundraisers and teams to hold Zoom meetings and raise money to support their goal.
Where: Givent is set up in the Fundraising section of CONNECT.

How to Create and Host a Givent
Create a Givent
You can create a new campaign for a Givent, or create a Givent for an existing campaign. All active campaigns can be assigned to a Givent.
Go to Launcher > Fundraising > Givent > New Givent
Enter the Basic Givent Information
Enter all required information.
- Form SKU may be assigned to the Givent
- Tracker may be assigned to the Givent (Remember, Dynamic trackers will override static trackers.)
- Form Header: Enter the text header that will appear in the donation form that opens in Zoom.
- Team: If you wish to attribute donations to a Peer-to-Peer Site Team, select the Team name.
- Fundraiser/Team Member: If you have Fundraisers/Team Members associated with the Campaign, select one to support. Only one fundraiser may be selected. If you have chosen a Team and no fundraiser/team member has been selected, then donations will be attributed to the Team as a whole.
Note: Givent donations will contain GAU, FMV, Payment Scheduling and Donation Presets for recurring payments if enabled on the Payment Options for the assigned campaign.
Customize the Stream and Thank you Message.
Save the Givent.
After saving the Givent, a message will appear that the Givent Token has created successfully.
Invitation Email
An email template will appear containing instructions for the Givent host on how to set up their Givent. Customize as desired and Send Invitation.
Enter the invitation email list and subject. Then use the radio button to select whether the email to be sent is for a Zoom or Teams Givent. The token will be the same for both, but the instructions will be different. The instructions include both how to install the Givent app in either Zoom or Teams, as well as the instructions for launching once installed.
An organization or individual may host both Zoom and Teams Givents.
Note: The Givent Token will be placed in the email. The host will enter this into their Givent app when it opens.
You will see a message that the invitation was sent successfully.
Note: This Givent token may be used repeatedly by the host, or anyone within the organization that has the same Zoom or Teams account number. This means the same Billing Account, not the same login account. If a company has 15 licenses in their account, 15 different individuals could host a Givent using the same token. However, if one of them wanted to host a Givent using their personal Zoom account, they would need a new Givent token to do so.
On the main Givent Page, the newly created Givent will be listed with "Invited" in the Givent Column.
When the Givent host receives the email and completes the steps to install the Givent App and enter the Givent Token in a meeting, "Invited" will change to "Registered" on the Givent Page, and will continue to update with revenue raised using that token.
A log is created on each Givent page that shows the dates and host information each time the Givent token is used.
Before starting the Givent, the host needs to install the app using the instructions included in the email they receive when the Givent is created. Then they will launch the Givent.
When launched, the host will see a place to enter their Givent Token. There will also be two options that can be unchecked: Show Progress Meter and Show Payment Stream.
Note: if Givent doesn't open, click in the white Givent area and enter Control + F5. for a hard refresh.
The host may want to wait until most of the attendees are present before entering the token. When the host is ready, they will enter the token and click on "Verify."
They will now have a button to "Publish and Broadcast" the Givent. Note: The Form Header (Make your meeting GOOD) is pulled from the information entered when the Givent was created.
All meeting attendees will see an invitation on their screen.
After the host broadcasts the Givent and the attendees open it, they will both see the donation form designated when the Givent was created, including recurring options. Note: Zoom does not support the pop-up functionality used by alternate payment types such as PayPal or Google Pay/Apple Pay, so only credit card transactions are available.
After a donation has been made, the following screen will appear, customized as set up in the Givent.
When the donor clicks on "View Stream" they will see the following. When the listing of donors fills, it will begin to scroll.
If intelliBooster is enabled on the campaign associated with the Givent, an Orange "Boost" button will appear next to the donations. If a donor chooses to "Boost" another attendee's donation, when the click on "Boost" next to that amount, the donation form that opens will show donation buttons with the amount increased according to the Booster Mode enabled for that campaign. For example, if a donor clicked on a $100 donation to boost, the SAME DONATION FORM will now have button beginning at $150.
If additional attendees join the meeting, the host will need to click the 3 dots next to the Collaborate button and click "Share" to rebroadcast the Givent app link to new attendees. This may be done as often as needed.
